The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, didn’t exclude divorcees, widows, or women who converted late in their lives. He commanded us to treat ALL women well.
He said, “I enjoin you to treat women well, for the woman was created from a rib and the most curved part of the rib is its highest point. If you try to straighten it, you will break it. If you leave it as it is, it will remain bent. Thus, I enjoin you to be good to women.”

As opposed to what happens in society today, where elaborate and expensive amounts of goods and currency are demanded, the dowry should be easily attainable and not cause couples to choose zinah instead due to difficulty or cause confusion by dismissing good men for marriage.
Are we still making marriage difficult by demanding large sums of cash and other items for our daughters? This is causing mischief and making our children choose what is not permissible outside of marriage. The best way is to make it easy for them to get married. Choose the Sunnah over culture and tradition!

Marriage closes the door in the face of many acts of moral degeneracy and decadence, which are among the major causes for the destruction of societies.
